The brief
A temporary roof erected over an existing house and around the ground of a new extension being built.
What we did
The team constructed a temporary roof over a large area to create a fully waterproof working environment, including an 18m internal bridge so roofing and extension works could run at the same time without interference. On one side, the scaffold had to span over a neighbour's fence with standards on either side, which we planned and coordinated with the neighbours directly. The whole structure was tied down with IBCs to keep it secure against wind and weather.
